Our  section of the barn starts at the door and goes to your right. It measures aprox 24'x36'. The barn is all metal with a 4 and 12 pitch roof with vent ridge to allow heat to escape.

Right now we have 4 rows of cages ( aprox 50 holes).  We have an automatic gravity fed watering system made from pvc. We have it set up where the poopy goes into a septic tank. My husband built  troughs out of metal and 2x4's.One end is capped off with a 4" PVC drain pipe that is connected to the main septic line. On the other there is a drain valve for the watering system. Twice a day we rinse the poo into the septic tank with a hose.

We use an evaporative cooler to cool the barn during the hot summer months.  There are cooling pads in the back and the pump sprays water over them then the fan pulls fresh cool air through the pads. This along with the exhaust fan on the back , 2 ceiling fans, and openings cut into back wall (covered with ladace) keeps the barn 10 to 15 degrees cooler than the outside temp. We have also insulated the West end of the barn as well as the whole ceiling with pink insulation board.
